I’m in an extroverted mood but am locked up inside alone

or maybe i’m just dying of loneliness.

The moon is leaving us

at around 2-3 centimeters every year. That’s around the same speed that our fingernails grow.

Sometimes I think about how little we go to our moon now. Why don’t we go back more often, why don’t we want to set up all these great systems that we wanted to. What happened to our inspiration and desire to explore and develop technologies on our closest neighbor. We could be setting up our solar panels up over there. Hell if we get our 3D printers working right we could be making our solar panels over there. We could be getting undiluted constant energy from the sun, theoretically enough to power the entire earth without using any of our own resources. We don’t though, and it’s incredibly sad.

Our closest neighbor is leaving us, and we’re not going over to see them enough.

lots of love this mother’s day for everyone who has a complex relationship with their mom, everyone who has ceased communication with their mom for reasons of self-preservation, and every person whose mom is deceased

Today I am thinking of women too often ignored or even hurt by the feminist movement. Trans* women, women of color, disabled women, fat women, queer women, elderly women, poor women, women in prison, women who are sex workers, women who are undocumented, women who are more than one of the above. Today is your day, too. I celebrate you and your strengths.
